Job summary

UHS in Virginia Beach is seeking a full-time Cook/Prep/Kitchen Utility to support meals for patients, staff and guests. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Responsibilities include preparing patient and staff trays, salad/dessert bars, serving meals, and performing cleaning, stocking, sanitation and waste removal while upholding high standards of quality, service and compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Vocational or formal culinary education, ServSafe Certification, and experience with cooking and meal prep in a facility setting.
• Knowledge of food service, food safety and sanitation is required.

A full‑time Cook/Prep/Kitchen Utility staff position is available. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holidays. The Cook/Prep/Kitchen Utility will prepare food for meals and special functions as needed.
