Job summary

Community First is seeking a Line Cook for The Patterson in Beavercreek, Ohio. You will prepare high-quality, restaurant-style meals for memory care residents, follow recipes, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role is part-time with two evening shifts weekly ( Saturdays and Mondays ), starting pay at $16/hour based on experience. You will work with the Director of Culinary and Sous Chef to ensure consistent service, maintain clean stations, and contribute to a warm dining

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Strong cooking skills and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Interest in learning and the ability to quickly grasp new culinary techniques.
• Ability to measure and use ingredients in the correct proportions.
• Attention to detail with food plating and garnishing.
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and proper food storage.
• Patience, teamwork, and a genuine love for cooking.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Our culinary team plays a vital role in creating a warm, restaurant-style dining experience that enhances daily life for residents.

As a Line Cook in our signature dining room, you will be responsible for the organized, consistent, and timely preparation of meals across multiple kitchen stations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and food safety. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their culinary skills, enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and brings a hospitality-driven, resident-first mindset to their work. You will work closely with the Director of Culinary and Sous Chef to prepare ticketed orders, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and contribute to a dining experience that supports the well-being and happiness of our residents.

Pay: Starting at $16/hr, based on years of experience

Schedule: 2 day shifts per week, Saturday evenings and Monday evenings
