Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality, and maintain safety standards while delivering excellent resident service.

We value a high school diploma, experience in food prep, and ServSafe certification where required by state law. Join a supportive team with opportunities for growth and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Effective communication with residents, staff and leadership.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
