Trinity Services Group is seeking a Cook for an on-site position in a jail/correctional facility. The role requires preparing diverse menu items, following recipes, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of cooking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and daily pay options are available, with opportunities for growth within the program.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 18+.
• Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a cafeteria or large-volume facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper kitchen etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold items following recipes and procedures.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment for each shift.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers safely.
• Handle, label, and rotate products per applicable state laws.
• Attend to opening/closing checklists and daily prep tasks.
