As a Line Cook, you will deliver exceptional Guest Services as part of our Food & Beverage – Culinary team, responsible for all food preparation at the hotel. Your role is crucial in ensuring guest satisfaction by crafting memorable culinary experiences from the moment guests enter the dining area. Your dedication to visual appeal and delicious food will create lasting memories.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Equip workstations with necessary products and culinary equipment for efficient production and service.
  • Complete all prep work efficiently for soups, sauces, salads, and ingredients.
  • Ensure meticulous product storage and precise portion control.
  • Minimize spoilage and waste through effective product rotation.
  • Monitor food, produce, and supply levels for timely reordering.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of refrigeration, storage, and work areas.
Physical Demands:
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform duties in confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and throughout the shift standing and moving in the kitchen.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to handle all kitchen equipment.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary or Apprenticeship Program completion preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of cook experience in a hotel or similar operation.
  • Managers Food Handlers Certification required.
  • Basic math skills for recipes, measurements, and portioning.
