Cook Job Summary

• Review menus before preparing food.
• Inspect special diet trays to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of foods.
• Clean up the kitchen generally.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
• Coordinate dietary service with other departments as necessary.
• Assist in standardizing methods of completing work.
• Ensure food and supplies for the meal are readily available.

Hours

6:00 am – 2:00 pm; 11:00 am – 6:45 pm. Every other weekend required.

Requirements

• Two years related food service experience; ServSafe certification required.
• Leadership skills and experience may be needed if supervising staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
