Job summary

Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center is seeking a Cook to join our award-winning team in Durand, MI. You will prepare nutritious meals, work closely with the Dietary Director, and ensure meals meet portion control and sanitary standards.

Starting wages are $18.00 per hour with increases and additional benefits. This full/part-time role offers world-class benefits, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and other employer-sponsored programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of related food experience, preferably supervisory in a medical facility.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork to support the dining team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and ensure quality and portion control.
• Work with the Dietary Director to review menus and maintain sanitary standards.
• Follow established policies and procedures and ensure timely service.

Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our residents and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience is provided at all times.

They work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.
You will earn: $18.85 per hour starting wages!

• Starting Wage - $18.00 per hour
