Job summary

Wellbridge of Clarkston is seeking an energetic Cook to join our EPIC Culinary Team in Clarkston, Michigan. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to prepare meals, review menus, and ensure all portions, temperatures and presentations meet our high standards.

We offer a starting wage of $17.00 per hour plus Hero Pay and yearly increases, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• 2+ years kitchen experience in medical facility, hotel, casino, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate food production to align with serving times.
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• Assist with daily kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions.

Our cooksprepare amazing and nourishing meals for our guests and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience are provided at all times. They work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.

Earn over $17.85 per hour!

• Starting Wages $17.00 per hour

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 8 hour shifts - Include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Full Time - Afternoon Shifts
• No late nights!

How you will help people every day:

• You will prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
• You will coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance are achieved
• You may assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
• You will assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certified.
