Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Dimondale, MI is hiring a full-time kitchen role focused on preparing meals for residents under supervision. You will coordinate production for 100+ guests, maintain high quality, and work with the Dietary Director to ensure proper portion control and sanitary standards.

The position requires at least 2 years of related food experience, with preference for long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility.
• Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food production for up to 100+ guests to align with meal serving times.
• Prepare meals following guidelines and regulations.
• Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly.
• Assist with daily kitchen cleaning requirements.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests and visitors.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Day Schedule: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
• Afternoon Schedule: 12:00 - 8:30 PM
• Full Time position
• No late nights!

How you will help people every day:

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer Skills
• At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility, with strong knowledge of food procedures. Experience in a Long Term Care facility is highly desirable.
