Job summary

Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center in Durand, MI is seeking a cook to prepare nourishing meals for residents and work with the Dietary Director on menus. You will ensure portions and sanitation meet established standards while supporting a dedicated team.

Starting wage is $18.85 per hour with yearly increases and benefits including tuition reimbursement, comprehensive medical, generous PTO, holiday pay, disability and life insurance, plus referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in accordance with established policies and portion control.
• Work with the Dietary Director to review menus and ensure meals meet sanitary regulations.

Our cooks prepare amazing and nourishing meals for our residents and ensure the highest quality standards of food service and the best culinary experience is provided at all times.

They work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus, prepare food, and ensure the meals are prepared in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.
You will earn: $18.85 per hour starting wages!
