Job summary

The Canyons Castle Pines, part of BlueStar Resort & Golf, is seeking a Cook 3 to join the Food & Beverage Team. You will prepare, cook, and serve a variety of dishes under the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Ideal candidates bring at least three years in a commercial kitchen, a Food Handlers card, and the ability to read recipes and safety instructions. Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Master all kitchen stations and ensure superior service for guests and staff.
• Follow cleaning schedules to maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to recipes and instructions.
• Read and interpret cooking instructions; adjust as needed for quality and safety.
• Carve meats, portion plates, and garnish to fill orders.
• Support the team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
