Job summary

Wisteria at Warner Center in Woodland Hills, CA is opening Summer 2026. We are hiring a Cook III to join our founding team on a full-time, onsite basis.

You will prepare all food items per standardized recipes, ensuring quality, portion control and timely service. Compensation is $28.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, Safe Harbor 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, tuition assistance, wellness discounts, and an employee meal

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, retirement community or similar institution.
• Ability to plan and organize work, interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
• Some knowledge of nutrition and diet.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food items based on standardized recipes, including soups, stocks, sauces, sautés, boils, braises and roasts.
• Fry, steam, grill, bake and handle short-order cooking as required.
• Assist in restocking, rotation of supplies and food safety.
• Prepare varied meats, seafood, poultry, fish, vegetables and other items for cooking with quality control.
• Assist in daily prep, special functions, banquets, catering and events.
• Maintain inventory at line stations and support meal serving coordination.
• Follow safety procedures and sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
