Wisteria at Warner Center, a brand-new Continuing Care Retirement Community opening in Summer 2026, invites you to join our founding team as Cook I on-site in Woodland Hills, CA. Compensation is $22.45 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

The role focuses on preparing all foods per standardized recipes, assisting in events, and ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of cook experience in a hotel, restaurant, retirement community, or similar.
• Ability to plan and organize work and interpret recipes.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance; basic nutrition knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all food items based on standardized recipes.
• Assist in daily prep, special functions, banquets and events.
• Plan production to align with meal service hours and manage supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Chefs or supervisor.
