Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a passionate cook to join the Culinary team at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Located along the Atlantic coastline, this luxury resort features 285 guest rooms and extensive meeting space, perfect for conferences and events.

The role focuses on learning, development, and delivering excellent guest experiences in a prestigious resort setting, with opportunities to grow within a world-class culinary team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a professional kitchen or culinary education underway
• Active Food handler certification or ability to obtain one
• Willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry)
• Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
• Read and recreate recipes
• Be consistent in all food preparation
• Minimize food waste through cross utilization
• Work with a world-class culinary team
• Create workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat)
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Store all food and other items properly
• Ensure the quality of ingredients
