Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 2 to join our bustling kitchen team at the club. You will set up, prepare, and present menu items while ensuring quality and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment. This junior-level position collaborates with Cook 1 and Cook 3, supports menu planning and daily prep, and may lead a shift in absence of senior cooks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize workstation.
• Prepare and store all food items for your station, adhering to Invited standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of daily specials, salads, entrees, and other menu items.
• Prepare or assist in preparing complete meals, including soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, and baked goods.
• Receive and store goods, manage ingredients, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work area.
