Job summary

Sodexo at Stamford Hospital is hiring a Cook II on a part-time basis. The role focuses on teamwork, high sanitation, and delivering quality hot and cold dishes with customer service at the center of every service.

You will prepare, portion, and present meals across multiple meal periods, follow recipes, and support daily operations. Candidates should have 3–4 years of related experience and be flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods.
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing items.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte or grill station.
• May support management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.
