The role requires basic kitchen knowledge, the ability to follow safety protocols, and a willingness to learn key culinary terms. Flexibility with hours including weekends is expected in a fast-paced casino kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years of food service experience.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of sanitation and proper food storage practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pantry and salad items and cook meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, sauces.
• Operate ovens, grills and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Sanitize and store kitchen equipment and utensils per industry standards.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor or Chef on duty.
