Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a Cook II to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare, cook, and season menu items, perform mise-en-place, and assist with daily specials, soups, stews, and chilies to meet guest demand.

The role requires at least 1 year of cook/kitchen experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided and safety standards are enforced.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cook and kitchen experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler Permit and Sips and Tips certification.
• Post-hire background check required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and season dishes to standards.
• Perform mise-en-place for the day.
• Assist with daily menus including specials, soups, stews, and chilies.
• Stock and replenish food at service stations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas.
• Support servers during peak periods to ensure guest satisfaction.
