Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to assist with food preparation under the Sous Chef, create visually appealing plates, and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen for our Guests. You’ll support special event service and ensure safety and quality standards across shifts.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (culinary apprenticeship preferred) and the ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and line work.
• Knowledge of sanitation and quality food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work varying shifts and operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of foods in assigned kitchen outlet.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and equipment.
• Support guest service and mentor other team members.
• Contribute to special events/parties as needed.
• Ensure proper closing and setup of stations.
