Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years cooking experience in upscale, high-volume hotel or restaurant.
• Thorough knowledge of Food Service Sanitation Standards.
• Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up work area with supplies and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and rotate food products for quality.
• Prepare and store raw food items properly.
• Follow standardized recipes for menu items.
• Plate foods per established guidelines.
• Ensure timely service and communicate delays.
• Maintain sanitation and uphold safety standards.
• Operate knives and kitchen tools safely.
• Close work area and store ingredients after shift.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.
