Job summary

AC Hotel San Rafael in California is seeking a Cook to oversee food preparation across outlets including the restaurant, café, room service, employee cafeteria and banquets. You’ll drive quality, consistency and presentation while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Food Handlers Certification required (must comply with State requirements).
• Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action.
• A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions.
