Position Overview

We are currently seeking a part-time Cook to join our team. The incumbent will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare meals according to specified recipes and quality standards.
2. Control food usage to minimize waste.
3. Perform opening and closing duties as per procedures.
4. Maintain refrigeration units, prepare next day’s food items, and stock supplies.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in a high-volume restaurant or similar environment.
3. Working knowledge of basic kitchen equipment.
4. SafeServe certification.
5. Ability to expedite orders professionally and efficiently.
6. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Other duties as assigned by the manager.
