Job summary

Taher, Inc is growing and is looking for a Cook to join our team. Located in Plymouth, Utah, you will follow standardized recipes, write menus, ensure meals meet quality standards, and manage ordering, receiving, storing and inventory of perishable products.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment.
• Do simple arithmetic.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Dependable, punctual.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Following standardized recipes and writing menus.
• Ensuring all meals meet quality standards, are correctly prepared and within acceptable time limits.
• Managing ordering, receiving, storing and inventory control of all perishable products following specific procedures and HACCP standards.
• Controlling waste.
• Using time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership.
