Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Cook to join our team at our Madison, AL location.

You will follow standardized recipes and menus, ensure meals meet quality standards, and manage ordering, receiving, storing and inventory control of perishable products per HACCP guidelines. Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt and change in a fast-paced environment.
• Do simple arithmetic.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Be able to lift 50 Lbs.

• Dependable, Punctual.

Responsibilities

• Following standardized recipes and writing menus.
• Ensuring all meals meet quality standards, are correctly prepared and within acceptable time limits.
• Managing ordering, receiving, storing and inventory control of all perishable products following specific procedures and HACCP standards.
• Controlling waste.
• Using time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned by leadership.
