Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Minnesota is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items according to our recipes and standards. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure food is cooked to order, plated attractively, and served hot while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

You'll follow health and sanitation guidelines, assist with stocking, and support the kitchen during peak times. Training is provided, and advancement opportunities exist for motivated team members.

Qualifications

• Sanitation, safety, and customer service are taught through in-house training.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team.
• Kitchen safety practices and handling procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work well groomed in a clean uniform and maintains personal hygiene.
• Uses and cleans kitchen equipment and maintains prep areas.
• Stocks and rotates products on the cooking line.
• Understands cooking stations, menu items, and prep procedures.
• Cooks and prepares items according to guest requests while following food safety standards.
• Monitors food temperatures to prevent foodborne illness.
• Communicates with Manager on Duty about deficiencies or safety concerns.
