Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items following company policies and standards. You will help maximize guest satisfaction and maintain a positive work environment under the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities include proper hygiene, stocking and rotating line items, and ensuring correct portioning and temperatures for safe service.

Qualifications

• Basic skills such as sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work well groomed, in a clean and proper uniform, and maintains personal hygiene.
• Uses, maintains, and cleans all kitchen line equipment, plus preparation and storage areas.
• Stocks and rotates products on cooking line.
• Has knowledge of cooking stations, menu items and prep procedures for correct portions and timing.
• Cooks and prepares menu items according to guest requests and safety standards.
• Monitors temperatures to reduce foodborne illness risk.
• Communicates with Manager on Duty regarding deficiencies or safety issues.
