Job summary

Concordia of Bridgeville is hiring a Cook to oversee food preparation, cooking, and serving in our dining area. You will handle daily tasks, follow recipes, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

The position offers a full-time schedule with 5am-7pm shifts, daily pay options, PTO, sick pay, and retirement benefits. Growth opportunities are available for dedicated team members who meet our standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Serv Safe certification preferred.
• Must have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs the preparation of all food served using standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Orders food as needed, trains new cooks or staff, and takes the lead roll in the kitchen duties.
• Keeps work area clean and sanitary at all times.
• Understands and follows ServSafe and other food service regulations.
• Assists with food service aide duties as needed.
