Job summary

Mercy Co is seeking a full-time food production team member responsible for all areas of the department. You will apply knowledge of cookery methods to produce high-quality, eye-appealing dishes within set timeframes.

Position requires High school diploma or equivalent and compliance with Food Handlers within 90 days of hire. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for eligible teammates.

This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.

Position Details:

Full Time: 40 hours

Schedule:

• 10:30am-6:30pm
• Monday through Friday ; every other weekend

Jefferson: Food Handlers within 90 days of hire.

Springfield: Food Handers within 90 days of hire.
Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Excellent integrity Takes initiative Good moral character. Basic Math Skills Time Management Skills Great interpersonal skills

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.
Preferred Education: High school diploma or its equivalent.
