Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and requisition supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and comply with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Contribute to effective kitchen teamwork and uphold Sodexo’s safety standards.
