Bowling Green Manor is seeking a cook to prepare meals according to daily menu and diet specifications, ensuring timely meal service for residents.
The role involves assisting in meal preparation, verifying tray tickets, washing and sanitizing dishware, cleaning equipment, and safely operating food service equipment. A high school diploma is preferred; ServSafe recommended and state-specific certifications encouraged.
Position Summary:
Prepares meals according to the daily menu and diet specifications in order to ensure successful completion of daily meal service operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write, make simple calculations and follow oral or written instructions. A high school diploma is preferred. ServSafe Certification recommended, or for Ohio only, Ohio Department of Health Level II Certification in Food Protection.
