Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.
• Location: Perry County Memorial Hospital - 1 Hospital Road, Tell City, IN 47586. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior cooking, dishwashing, and cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serve meals with correct portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all items.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly.
• Assist with production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with team members and customers.
• Follow HACCP standards and safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes.
