• Location: Genesis East - 1227 E Rusholme Street, Davenport, IA 52803 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time. Days and hours may vary. Morning and evening shifts available. Every other weekend required. More details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production schedules.
• Serves meals using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains related records.
• Cleans kitchen areas after preparation and service, maintaining high cleanliness standards. Stores or discards excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, storing food and supplies per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Prioritizes safety for oneself and others.
• Follows all company policies, including safety procedures when handling equipment and using protective gear.
