Bourbonnais Terrace, a Specialized Mental Health and Rehab Facility in Bourbonnais, IL, is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals for patients and support nutritional needs. Official title may be Dietary Cook or Line Cook depending on center; experience in food service is essential.

Flexible shifts and a collaborative kitchen environment. You will work with our team to deliver safe, appetizing meals, maintain sanitation standards, and adapt menus with RD guidance.

Qualificações

Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly

Start Date:ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon

Hourly Wage Estimate:$15.00 hourly

Shift:8 hour shifts; Days

Schedule:5:00A-1:00P, with every-other weekend rotation

What you will do in this role:

• Officially we title this job a Dietary Cook, but in other centers it may be called a Line Cook or even an entry level Chef.
• When you are sick or injured, food can be the highlight of your day. As a cook you will help prepare meals for our patients. This could involve menu creation, working with our Registered Dietician for special needs diets, kitchen sanitation and food safety. One day you may clean out the freezer or the next it may involve talking with the patients to see if they liked their meal.
• We wear many hats and do whatever is needed to meet the nutritional needs of the patient.
