We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.

Location: 470 - 1200 W Radio Lane, Arkansas City, KS 67005. Note: online applications accepted only.

Pay Range: $11.00 to $12.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food.
• Uses established ticket procedures during service and maintains records.
• Cleans kitchen after use, maintains high cleanliness standards, and stores or discards excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean environment.
• Follows HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperatures.
• Adheres to all safety policies, including proper glove and equipment use.
