Unidine is hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions.

  • Location: EHM-Evangelical Saline - 400 West Russell St, Saline, MI 48176
  • Schedule: Full-time schedule with AM and PM shifts available. Hours and days may vary. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous culinary experience preferred.

  • Pay Rate: $18.40 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares high-quality food items per standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food items.
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, stores excess food safely, and ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  • Attends safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
  • Follows safety standards, HACCP, and company policies, including proper handling and safety procedures with equipment and hot items.
