Schedule: 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Springwoods Behavioral Health, an 80-bed acute care behavioral health facility in Northwest Arkansas, has been providing quality healthcare since 2009. The hospital offers 24-hour acute behavioral health services.

We are seeking a cook for the nutritional services department. The cook is responsible for preparing and serving food to patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining a clean and safe food service environment.

Interpersonal Relations: As a representative of Springwoods Behavioral Health and Universal Health Services, Inc., your comments, attitude, actions, and behaviors impact the hospital’s image and perceived quality of service. Interaction with patients, physicians, guests, visitors, co-workers, supervisors, and vendors should be friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional. Such behavior promotes teamwork and aligns with hospital standards to foster positive relations.

The applicant should be able to follow menus, instruct food service workers, ensure sanitation, and supervise staff to deliver effective service. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions is essential.
