Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full time COOK positions.
• Location: Hendrick Medical Center South - 6250 Highway 82-84, Abilene, TX 79606. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time; 12-hour shifts. Rotating weekends required. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous experience cooking in hospitals, higher education, or fine dining restaurants required.
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items per recipes and schedules.
2. Serve meals ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
4. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
5. Assist with production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
6. Report maintenance issues promptly.
7. Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
8. Maintain good relationships with team members and clients.
9. Follow HACCP standards and safety policies.
