Job Description: Breakfast Cook

• Full Time
• Shift: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm

Job Summary:

The Breakfast cook prepares, cooks, and assists in cleaning and serving breakfast and lunch meals for patients, the Café, and Meals-On-Wheels. Prepares catering and desserts as needed to maintain patient, employee, and visitor satisfaction. May be required to prepare meals for patients and Meals-On-Wheels on weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements:

• Reviews menus for meals and catering to ensure an organized work environment.
• Monitors and maintains safe temperatures for meals to prevent food waste and illness.
• Organizes and distributes meals to patients to create a welcoming environment.
• Maintains a clean workspace to prevent food waste, pests, and infection.
• Organizes and arranges delivered goods efficiently.
• Works well under pressure and can multitask.

Qualifications:

• Food service experience preferred but not required.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills required.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
