Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve high-quality, scratch-made meals aligned with dietary guidelines for residents at Harbor Terrace Senior Living in Muskegon, MI. You will follow safe sanitation standards and contribute to a positive dining experience.

With 1–2 years of cooking experience and a High School diploma, you will support inventory, supervise dietary staff when needed, and help maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
