Job summary

Kingston of Marion, part of Trilogy Health Services, is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals and support residents’ health and well-being. You will ensure meals follow safety standards and provide a positive dining experience for our residents and families.

Responsibilities include scratch-made meals, inventory assistance, proper storage, supervision of dietary staff when managers are unavailable, and maintaining clean kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas.
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to safely create a great dining experience for residents and families.
