Job summary

Vui's Kitchen in Nashville, TN is seeking Kitchen Team Members to prep fresh ingredients and craft meals for dine-in and take-out. You will follow recipes, maintain station cleanliness, participate in catering orders, and support a friendly, fast-paced team.

No prior experience required; training provided. Hours vary including mornings, evenings, weekends; you will gain hands-on kitchen skills and potential leadership opportunities as you grow with the brand.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s card.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary.
• Strong work ethic with passion and urgency
• Dependable and reliable
• Professional attitude and respect for coworkers, establishment, and the brand

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies.
• Proper food handling and storage of food products with minimal waste
• Menu and product knowledge
• Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform and appearance
• Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately by following our recipe screens
• Managing orders efficiently
• Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish and prep areas.
