Job summary

Benedictine is seeking a Cook - Float to prepare hot and cold items for patients, residents, visitors and staff. The role requires traveling to Benedictine communities within the assigned region to support dining services.

You will lead Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations, follow safety guidelines, and assist in training. This casual position offers variety with shifts and responsibilities across campuses.

Qualifications

• Quantity food production experience.
• Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course, or completion within the first 90 days of employment.

Overview

Prepare both hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors and staff. Serve food, clean equipment and work area, and put stock away. Lead Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations and actively participate in all culinary training. This position will be required to travel and provide care at all Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed/required.
