Job summary

Benedictine Living Community is seeking a Cook - Float to prepare hot and cold meals for patients, residents, visitors, and staff in Rochester and surrounding Benedictine communities. The role involves leading Culinary Services Aides and traveling to assigned sites as needed.

• Prepares food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
• Serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.

Overview

Prepare both hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors and staff. Serve food, clean equipment and work area, and put stock away. Lead Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations and actively participate in all culinary training. This position will be required to travel and provide care at all Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed/required.
