Job summary

Benedictine Living is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to prepare hot and cold foods for patients, residents, visitors and staff, and to lead day-to-day operations in the kitchen. You will follow food safety standards, service portions, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

This role may require travel to Benedictine communities within the assigned region in Idaho, providing care as needed and supporting the overall dining program with a compassionate, mission-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity food production.
• Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course (or within the first 90 days).

• Operates, cleans, and sanitizes foodservice equipment and work area.
• Prepares food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.
• Serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
• Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
• Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.

This position will be required to travel and provide care at all Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed/required.
