Job summary

Food City is hiring Food Service Associates to support daily operations in our Bristol, VA store. You will greet customers, provide friendly service, and help prepare meals and grill items per guidelines. Roles include stocking, rotating products, and maintaining a clean work area while following safety procedures.

Experience is a bonus, but the role trains across areas. This on-site position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to time policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service.
• Prepare food for the Food Service department per guidelines.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products to meet expectations.
• Assist in stocking and rotating products and maintaining clean work areas.
• Follow Food Safety program and ensure correct packaging and weights where applicable.
