Food City in Kingsport, TN is hiring a Food Service Associate to support the store's mission of running the best store in town. You will greet customers, provide prompt service, and work as part of a friendly team to maintain a clean, efficient service area.

Responsibilities include preparing food for the Food Service department, slicing meats and cheeses, stocking, following safety guidelines, and ensuring accurate packaging for self-service. On-site shifts require reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to time policies.

Responsabilités

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service at all times.
• Prepare food for the Food Service department per guidelines.
• Prepare and produce quality food and products meeting expectations.
• Prepare grill orders and slice meats and cheeses as needed.
• Assist in stocking, rotation, and maintaining proper product dates.
• Follow Food Safety program and keep the workstation clean.
• Support in ordering and ensuring proper packaging for self-service.
