Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook to prepare and present hot and cold items for all meals and events at Merrimack College. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, following Sodexo standards for quality, safety, and efficiency, while ensuring a clean, organized workstation.

The role requires basic food-handling knowledge, ability to follow recipes, and physical stamina to stand long hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits offered are contingent on location.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow recipes.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold items following Sodexo culinary standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for quality and consistency.
• Estimate food requirements and maintain accurate production records.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
