Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook at ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERSITY to prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring safety, accuracy, and cleanliness while contributing to a high-quality dining experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other items.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production and requisitions.
• Significant walking or mobility; stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Attend shifts on time and maintain regular attendance.
