Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Fargo, ND is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items per company policies, procedures, and performance standards. You will work under the Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty to maximize guest satisfaction and maintain a quality work environment.

You will be responsible for proper kitchen operations, food safety, and getting meals out consistently during peak times. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work well groomed, in a clean uniform and maintains personal hygiene.
• Uses, maintains, and cleans kitchen line equipment, plus prep areas.
• Stocks and rotates products on cooking line.
• Knows cooking stations, menu items, and prep procedures for correct portions and timing.
• Cooks and prepares items per guest requests within company standards and food safety rules.
• Monitors food temperatures to reduce risk of foodborne illness.
• Communicates with Manager on Duty about deficiencies, equipment or safety problems.
