Job summary

TravelCenters of America in Oklahoma City is seeking a Cook to join our food service team at TA travel centers. You will prepare and present quality food to guests, follow plate presentation guides, and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A dedicated individual who works well with others.
• Previous food service experience a plus.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Perform grill cook tasks, set up stations and prepare products to guest specifications.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling and storage and report unsafe situations.
• Maintain equipment and prioritize work according to guest needs.
• Build communication with leaders and co-workers and perform other duties as assigned.
